Raw Sour Cream Recipe Review

Why am I reviewing a raw sour cream?  I love dairy, but I am allergic to it!  Of course, we always love what we can’t have!    Dairy makes mucus, and for me, put that into triple drive.  Since I love dairy and was unwilling to give it up, I always kept tissue with me.  Dairy makes me sneeze and makes my nose run, so I blew my nose for years and years and years, while I continued to enjoy cheese, sour cream and my all-time favorite, Rocky Road Ice Cream!!

My son told me once, “Mom you have been blowing your nose for three years!!!”  My beautician commented, “Pamm I have never seen you without tissue!”  At work my co-workers would make jokes about the perpetual sneezing I did… all the time.

So when I went on a 85% raw 15% cooked, The Hallelujah Diet, it was a beautiful thing to be able to exist for one day without blowing my nose or sneezing!  I have since learned how to make a multitude of food I love and not miss their dairy counterparts.  In future posts I will share raw food ice cream, and raw cheese!  The possibilities are endless!

We are wrapping up our ten day Master Cleanse, so in class tonight I shared this amazing recipe and decided to post the video for all to enjoy!  Their assignment is to make this raw sour cream, and you are welcome to join us for dinner!  (smile)  You see, this time after the Master Cleanse, I am planning to enjoy a raw food meal together with my clients on-line.  After ten days of giving our digestive system a vacation, when we return to the land of food, I usually start them with raw taco salad!  Since I want sour cream with my taco salad, I was on a mission to find a good non dairy, vegan sour cream.  This non dairy, raw sour cream was posted by Heather Pace.  She has an excellent blog with great recipes for people living the raw lifestyle.

I am issuing a 30 Day Challenge to incorporate Raw Food into your diet.  I will be coaching the 30 Day Raw Food Challenge in August.  To help you in this challenge, I will be reviewing raw food recipes in the upcoming posts.

When I first went into raw food there was no YouTube, so I did not have the variety of raw food to enjoy.  Now there are so many creative ways to eat raw, you should be able to do it without being bored!

Today it is raw sour cream, check back for the guacamole, salsa, taco meat and tortilla chips!!!  (smile)
