How to eat raw on a cruise ship?!! Is that even possible?  Will I die of salad boredom?

I have spent a lot of time cruising.  I was blessed to land a job on the ship and got out to sea once per month.  After almost two years I had not gained one extra pound!  To achieve this feat took concentrated effort however and I always came prepared.  First I start with an extra suitcase.  I call it my kitchen.  Depending on the length of the cruise and how much time I gave myself to prep, I packed different gadgets.

My gadgets could range from a mini food processor, my full size juicer to my personal blender.  As you will see on the video a personal blender does not have the power to do the job efficiently.  The jury is still out on what other small appliance can be used.  My cruise buddies Ann and Adarsh insist I need to break down and buy a Magic Bullet or a Ninja.  I will let you know how it works when and if I do!

How to Eat Raw on a Cruise ship

Green Smoothies

  • banana
  • orange
  • strawberries
  • spinach
  • ice

Put all the ingredients into a personal blender and give it a whirl!!

You will get a fruity, nutrient dense, delicious drink that just happens to be green.  Do not be scared of green, green only has a look, NOT a taste!
